Swift very well may be going for a more mature look as some of her listeners and biggest fans will continue to get older as she moves into the next phase of her career while continuing to sell millions of records and sell out arenas.

There has been some speculation as to why Swift went with the new straightened bang look in comparison to her trademark curls.

She could have simply wanted a change, could be preparing for a movie or commercial. This could mean a whole new phase in her music. Commentators said the hair change made her look more mature. The more mature look good well with her very mature and professional outlook when it comes to all of the aspects of being famous.

Many people have not been able to stop talking about the talented Miss Swift after the debacle at the Video Music Awards involving Kanye West. The fact of the matter is that the situation was awful for Taylor. but it made more people take notice of her work and likely helped her move up the pop charts.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift and Kanye West have been forced to stand side by side again. Billboard has named them the Top Female and Top Male Artists of 2009.

Luckily they won’t have to share a stage together to receive the honour – this one’s only on paper since the awards ceremony was cancelled back in 2007.

Both are up for Grammys next month, however, so maybe we’ll get to see some awkward interaction if they cross paths.
