Taylor Swift turned 20 this week and she celebrated her 20th birthday with a new hair style.
While out in NYC with her Emma Stone, Swift was photographed with a new straight hair style
So far, she’s sticking to her usual blond color.
Swift and Stone were seen going into a candy store and out to dinner at an Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village.
The 20-year-old country star has been in New York City for Friday’s Z100 Jingle Ball, where she performed.
The new look caused quite a debate yesterday:

Taylor is absolutely lovely, nomatter what, but I do prefer her curly hair, I’m sure like most of us with curly hair she’ll switch it up from time to time. To those of you saying she is talentless, do you realize she writes her own songs? How many people in the music business
can say that these days? Her voice has imperfections, I like it, she has a very origional sound and is an amazing writer and performer.

Curly suits her thin face better. I like country music and she came out as a country music singer but only because CW music is popular and their fans are very loyal. CW music is NOT her genre. Curly hair good! Her music is not my thing!

Her hair shouldn’t affect the quality of her singing. Lots of people, guys included, change hairstyles a lot more frequently than she has. Plus, she’s easy to recognize with the curls.Perhaps she was hoping for a degree of anonymity for a few minutes. Who’s to say she won’t have curls again tomorrow? (I have straight hair, but I do curl it once or twice a year.)

It seems many women country singers go through this phase. Trisha Yearwood, Faith Hill, and Shania Twain being examples. They all came in curly and once they hit it big, went straight. This is nothing new and certainly not newsworthy. So the girl changes her hair…big deal.

To be honest, I never heard of her until recently…Oprah had a little girl on show who just worshipped her..but if I were to give my opinion, I preferred the straight look and I’m a cosmotologist by profession…curls to me are for little girls, then it depends how you wear it curly…but to each its own I say…

I think she looks beautiful with straight hair. More sophisticated, fresher: her features are much improved
by the new style. I never considered her beautiful until I saw her with it. Straight bangs and curly hair looked like a bad, old perm!
Having curly hair, I always looked up to Taylor because she didn’t have straight hair like everyone else. it’s kind of a let down to see her straighten her hair becuase she looks like everyone else now. I dont think she looks bad but I like her curly hair so much better

I will make no bones about it, that I am NOT a Taylor Swift fan. Yes, she has written all of her own songs but they are out of her diary from her high school days about boy/girl relationships. I have never heard her sing anything else. She does not have a good voice at all, especially where she has to sing live. They can fix the records but when she is live she can’t sing.
About the question on her hair. I have always thought she was a good role model for our younger teens, and I Think her curly hair with her sweet, innocent smile makes her desirable to her fans. I would not have even known the girl with straight hair was Taylor Swift. She has turned 20 yrs. old now and I guess she is ready for a change. That is her choice!!!!!
