Brittney Murphy Dies
Actress Britteny Murphy passed away suddenly on Sunday. She was 32 years old.
Around 8am, Los Angeles firefighters responded to a medical call from the actress’ home. TMZ reports Murphy was found unconscious in the shower by her mother.
Medics determined the actress was in cardiac arrest and CPR was performed unsuccessfully while en route to the hospital. Shortly after 10am, Murphy was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
While reports are that there were prescription drugs found in the home, foul play is not suspected. An autopsy and toxicology report will be performed on Monday or Tuesday, reportedly against the wishes of Simon Monjack, the actress’ husband. Murphy’s mother told medics the actress had a history of diabetes.
Brittney Murphy’s acting credits include her breakout role as Tai in the 1995 comedy “Clueless”. Her other film credits include “8 Mile”, “Don’t Say a Word”, “Just Married”, and “Uptown Girls”. She also provided the voice of Luann Platter for Fox’s animated hit “King of the Hill”.

It is sad to hear about brittney Murphy died, my condolense is in order for her family and friends. How,can Brittney do this to her yourslef, I’m not riping her off for it, but come one have common sense to think how prescription drugs can do to you. She should learn its taking the easiest way out, think about her family for ounce.
Sad to see such a young talent pass away. She will always be remembered for her talent and her beauty.

Sad news
This truly is a tradgedy. She was beautiful both inside and out, and also especially talented.
Whatever happened to her (be it drugs or otherwise) it is a very sad situation, and I feel for the family during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with them, and her.

My prayers are with the family. A young life snuffed out too soon. I enjoyed watching her on the big screen. That is really very scary.
She was so young and we only got a glimpse of her talent. May she be at peace. And I hope that she is rollin with the homies…..
