Alaina Reed-Amini died Dec. 17 of breast cancer at the age of 63 years, according to her agent Billy Laurence.
Alaina Reed-Amini also known under the name Alaina Reed Hall succumbed to the disease in a clinic in Santa Monica after having struggled for two years against cancer, according to Billy Lawrence.
Born in 1946 in Ohio, Reed-Amini had joined “Sesame Street” in 1976. She had played on stage on Broadway in the musicals “Chicago” and “Hair.”
She participated in the television series “ER,” “NYPD Blue” and “Ally McBeal”.
