A-list movie stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie spent the holidays in New York City with their children Maddox, Zahara, and Shiloh.

The multinational flock were spotted at Café Metro on the 20th of December sharing a hot chocolate and chatting, reportedly waiting in line with other patrons. They were in town due to reshoots with Jolie’s latest film, Salt.

Later on, the group was spotted buying winter clothes–hats, gloves, and scarves–from a street vendor.

Getting into the holiday spirit, the pair–already known for their philanthropic work in Africa and New Orleans–donated $100,000 recently to an American charity, SOS Children’s Villages. A cause that is apparently close to their hearts, SOS is an alternative foster care organization with locations in Illinois and Florida.

Jolie stated in prepared remarks that she was impressed with SOS’s ability to raise orphaned and abandoned children, as well as their ability to keep families together.
