Brand and Perry Engaged?

For a while now there has been a lot of talk about the sizzling relationship between singer Katy Perry and comic actor Russell Brand, both of whom have been dubbed by many as one of MTV News favorite couple of 2009.

The gossips and speculations have now gone a notch higher as there are unconfirmed reports that the two are engaged to be married. The pair of lovebirds are presently on holidays in India. The singer, Kerry is reported to have just bought her lover, Russell a range rover as a gift and according to contactmusic.com, the car is an engagement present. She is reported to also have offered to pay for driving lessons for him.

Russell and Kerry made their relationship public back in September at the VMAs. According to Splash News, who were quoting a source, “Russell is searching for a jewelry designer to make up a ring in time for New Year after the pair discussed what they wanted to have,”. Splash News also reported that “Russell also has the approval of Katy’s parents and everyone in the pair’s close circle knows about the engagement.”

The fact that Russell and Kerry are into each other is quite obvious, even their twitter pages have comments of each other and photos of their current India holiday trip. What now remains is if they are ready to commit their feelings and relationship to the next level as the rumors and signs all suggest.
