Every now and then there are those incidents surrounding celebrities that have the ability to improve their career or augment it. In the case of Rachel Ray a series of racy photos began to surface for a shoot that she conducted for FHM magazine.

What happened was in 2003 Ray posed for the magazine in a series of short outfits. Then in March of 2009 she was asked to another shoot for the magazine, which Ray agreed to. The photos have begun to become a buzz on the internet as FHM announced its 100 Sexiest Women of 2009 with Ray being included as one of them.

What this shows is that like many times in the world of entertainment a photo has the ability to make or break careers.

In the case of Rachel Ray the photos of her in FHM magazine are augmenting the successful career that she has already developed by allowing her to be seen as something more than the host of daytime television show.

Because of this new status as sex symbol could mean that she could use the photos in an attempt to help advance her career even further due to the positive buzz that they have created.
