Twilight’s Taylor Lautner is now Hollywood’s Highest Paid Teenage Actor, according to DeadlineHollywood.

Lautner, 17,  earned $7.5 million for his next flick called Northern Lights, a Tom Cruise project to be directed by John Moore that will start production on April 1st.

Though Lautner’s earnings are impressive, he is not not the highest paid teen actor of all time.  Daniel Radcliffe earned $11 million for 2005′s “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire,” when he was 16, while Macaulay Culkin made $8 million for 1994′s “Richie Rich” at the age of 14.

According to reports, the movie is about ‘a gifted, young, aerobatics pilot who faces off with his controlling billionaire father and falls in love with a gifted, female pilot’.

Lautner who  will turn 18 next month has also agreed to become Paramount’s next big action hero in the upcoming movie Max Steel.
