Thank goodness Elin Nordegren isn’t sitting around waiting for Tiger to call (she could have a long wait). Over the christmas break, She was out enjoying herself in France. She was skiing in the French Alps.

Nordegren was celebrating her 30th birthday at a posh ski resort overlooking Mont Blanc. Her twin sister and husband, along with a few friends accompanied Elin on her luxurious trip. A private French security team is enlisted to keep Elin and friends safe from harm and reporters.

Although Elin and her sister were staying in a very expensive huge chalet, they were seen out and about in a local restaurant where they both celebrated their birthdays at midnight.

It is reported that Nordegren has suffered much heartache over Tiger’s transgressions. She was taken by complete shock and surprise, just like the rest of us. She needed to get away to ponder her future and the future of her children. She would like to try to resolve the problems with Tiger, but reportedly “doesn’t know whether she can ever trust him again.”

Now back home Nordegren said all her focus is now on her children.

“Elin’s daily decisions rest on what is good for her and the children,” a source told PEOPLE.
