Charlie Sheen Wants Media Banned From Hearing

Charlie Sheen’s attorneys have asked the judge to ban media from entering the courtroom while Sheen is on trial. Sheen, who has a court date scheduled for January 20, was involved in a domestic dispute with his wife, Brooke Mueller, on Christmas Day. Since the incident, which landed Sheen in police custody, Charlie Sheen has been ordered to not contact Mueller.

Sheen and his legal representation ask for the cameras to be restricted in order to protect his privacy and the privacy of his wife. Sheen’s attorneys further stated that Sheen is well aware that he is in the public spotlight and his intention is not to restrict the media from gaining information about his case. By not having the cameras in the courtroom, Sheen does believe the media frenzy will have less of an impact on the case and will not hinder his right to have a fair trial.

Charlie Sheen is well known for his role in Two and a Half Men and his starring roles in many feature films.
