Lindsay Lohan will be attending the Vienna Ball on February 11, 2010 on the arm of Richard Lugner. Lugner is an Austrian businessman who is 77-years-old. Apparently the announcement of who he chooses to bring as his date is a significant event in which the local media waits patiently to hear. He is known for bringing young Hollywood actresses as his guests. In the past he has escorted women such as Paris Hilton, Carmen Electra, Pamela Anderson and Nicolette Sheridan.

The Vienna Ball is an annual event which is held in the Vienna State Opera during the Viennese carnival season. Remarkably, the auditorium of the Vienna State Opera is transformed into a large ballroom literally overnight. Within a 24 hour period all of the seats are removed and a brand new floor is created in line with the existing stage.
