For someone who is battling prostate cancer and could possibly be down to their last days on Earth according to published reports Dennis Hopper appears to have added quite a bit to hid plate. He has decided to file for divorce to a woman who he has been involved with for over fourteen year. Hopper has been known for his very short marriages in the past so the fact that this relationship has lasted as long as it has is a fact that surprises some media and Hollywood experts. There were also rumors coming from different sources that Dennis Hopper was falling in and out of reality as he battled prostate cancer. Some people close to him reportedly wondered whether he was well enough mentally to even file for divorce.

It is sure to be an ugly battle over assets during the divorce because Mr. Hopper’s soon to be ex-wife is sure to question the mental state of her husband as he was making some key final decisions. Hopper has made a lot of money and had a lot of success. Much of that success is due to the 1969 cult classic “Easy Rider.” Hopper is very thankful for being part of the project.
