As we all know, Paula Abdul has left American Idol permanently. She was replaced by Ellen Degeneres, and there has also been a numerous amount of celebrity guest judges on the new season. And after Season ten, Simon Cowell is prepared to leave the show as well.

But who would join the table of judges in replace of the crude and blunt Mr. Cowell?

Apparently Katy Perry would absolutely love to take his place. She was a guest judge on this season, and reports say that she is prepared to give up her singing career for a while, if it meant she could sign a contract with American Idol as a permanent judge. So this would make it three girls, and one guy, the one and only Randy Jackson.

Though I’m sure that the thousand of Katy’s fans would be thrilled to see her every Tuesday and Wednesday night on the show, there are rumors going around saying that Kara wouldn’t be too happy about that replacement.

Supposedly behind the scenes of the show, there were some disputes going on between the two singers.

Though Kara disregarded those rumors, there are still questions on how the two would get along.
