New “Do” for Kate Gosselin

Former “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ reality star Kate Gosselin has one again changed her iconic hairstyle.

The mother of twins and sextuplets had sported a very short and spiky style for years on the show. The look was often criticized and mocked in tabloids and even inspired a wig for a Kate Gosselin Halloween costume. Once Kate announced her divorce from her husband of 10 years, Jon, she was seen on the cover of People magazine in January with long extensions.

The blonde mom told People she was looking for a fresh start, including her hair. The extensions cost $7,000, but ended up hating the look.

Recent pictures show that Kate has chopped at least 4 inches of her hair and is back to a shorter hairstyle, although it is not another extreme cut. An insider tells Us Weekly magazine, “She thinks her hair looks overprocessed and damaged. She’s afraid people will think she’s one of Tiger Woods’ bimbos!”

The new ‘do is a longer shag cut that just hits the shoulders. She wears the new cut straight with side swept bangs. It is a look that is more conservative than both the spiky haircut and the long extensions.

I always liked Kate’s hairdo; it was original and suited her. Now it seems she is trying to please too many others; especially those who poked fun at her original hairdo. I call it sour grapes. She is beautiful with that natural, short do she sported just before the divorce.

This is the best I’ve seen her look, hope she keeps it this way for a while.

Her other short look was better, very sassy & suited her. This new look makes her just look like…well everyone else!! And who wants that?

I think Kate looks wonderful, I think getting rid of Jon improved her looks 100%.
