With its’ 10th anniversary coming up the show “Survivor” is going with a new theme this cycle called “Heroes Vs. Villains”. The cast will include heroes and villains from past shows such as Randy Bailey (“Gabon”), Rupert Boneham (“Pearl Islands”), Amanda Kimmel (“China”), Tom Westman (“Palau”), and Colby Donaldson (“Australian Outback”).

As one of the longest running reality series “Survivor” has kept its’ audience interested in the show with its’ theme which is “Outwit, Outplay, Outlast!”.This time around they have a new motto which is ” Return, Revenge, Redemption”. This new motto and way of playing is sure to bring about an interesting twist to the show and keep its’ audience intrigued. The challenges that are going to be used in this brand new season is said to be based off of some of the challenges they had used in their previous seasons but with a twist.

“Survivor” which is shown on CBS is fairly inexpensive to make, making it one of the most profitable shows for the channel. As being considered the “grandfather” of reality shows “Survivor” has gone on to inspire the whole concept of “reality TV”.

“Survivor: Heroes Vs. Villains” will premier this Thursday at 7 on CBS.
