Dennis Hopper has been fighting prostate cancer and is now fighting his wife of fourteen years, Victoria Duffy. Doctors have informed the actor, there is not much more they can do for him since the cancer has spread to his bones.

Days after the devastating news broke about his cancer spreading, headlines were shouting he filed for divorce from his wife. Rumors began to circulate that this was the work of Hopper’s daughter who happens to be the executor of his estate. Duffy claimed Hopper did not have the mental faculties to legally file the divorce papers.

Hopper and Duffy have a six year old daughter together. Visitation between Hopper and his young daughter are often the cause of the fights between the couple. Duffy claims Hopper smokes his medicinal marijuana around the little girl. He denies the allegations. Hopper was recently granted a restraining order against his wife and was granted daily visits with his youngest child.

A prenuptial agreement has ensured Duffy will only get a portion of the actor’s estate if he dies while they are still married and living together. His children will get a larger inheritance if his divorce is granted before his imminent death.
