Music superstar Madonna, has agreed to an appearance on Jerry Seinfeld’s new show, “The Marriage Ref.” Her position will be a referee or judge of marriage disputes between regular people who are willing to air their dirty laundry on the show. Some may call into question Madonna’s track record with marriage, but the show is intended to be funny.
Seinfeld has created the show as a way to portray common marital spats in a humorous light. He has already got several celebrities including comedians lined up to sit in on the panel. The more outspoken the celebrity, the better the advice will be. The show is not meant to provide counseling or therapy but provide the couples with different opinions by their favorite personalities. The show will include clips of the couples bickering in their own homes.
The personalities will get the chance to offer their opinions on how to handle certain situations and what kind of actions they should take. Considering Hollywood’s infamous marriages the show has some serious comedy potential.
The show will air on NBC with the premiere on February 28th. Eva Longoria, Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey are among the celebrities signed up for a guest appearance.
