Canadian songstress Celine Dion calls her nine year old son, Rene-Charles a miracle. The singer underwent fertility treatments and became pregnant after the first try which is almost unheard of. Her husband and record manager Rene Angelil, are trying for a second child.

The 41 year old singer is currently in the hospital for her fifth attempt at in-vitro fertilization. The couple is hoping this is their lucky shot but are willing to keep going until a viable pregnancy occurs. They had announced a pregnancy several months ago, but unfortunately she miscarried in November 2009.

She has remained positive throughout her struggles to conceive and simply chalks it up to life experience. She also points out that she is not the only woman who must deal with the ups and downs infertility brings. Dion had been offered a chance to sing at the winter Olympics for 2010 but turned down the opportunity because she hoping to be pregnant.

Instead of her singing talents, a docu-movie has been released that showcases her professional and private life during the last 13 months. The footage includes the family’s travels throughout the tour. She has just signed a deal for 70 performances at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
