American Idol announced Season Nine’s 24 semifinalists Wednesday, weeding out 18 more talented voices.
This season on American Idol the competition has definitely become fiercer. Year after year the judges say that there is more talent, and year after year the talent grows; several singers were turned away last night being told they did nothing wrong but were not going to be able to go on as an ‘Idol’ semifinalist.
When it was all said and done, they were left with the following 24 ‘Idol’ semifinalists (listed alphabetically):
