‘Gossip Girl’ star Mathew Settle, 40, and his wife of four years, Naama Nativ, 26, have decided to part ways. They are not divorced and so far neither one has filed for a divorce. They have been separated for a while but now they have gone public. They were currently living together in Manhattan with their child Aven Angelica Settle, who was born last March. Settle was based in Manhattan because of his role in Gossip Girl.

Settle confirmed the news and said: “Things happen in life and you just have to roll with it. I wish things could have been better but our focus is on our daughter.” Both parents are devoted to their child and play a big role in her life. The couple may be going through a tough time but the baby is happy and she is part of Settles every day life.

Settle said he’s not looking for a replacement for his wife, “I’m not adjusted yet,” he says. “I’m still working on that, but it’s always a tragedy when things happen, and that’s all I can say.” Sources tell us he was spotted with some ladies at fashion week; maybe he’s adjusting after all.
