Tina Fey To Reprise Palin Role On SNL

During the 2008 Presidential election actress and comedian Tina Fey made an excellent portrayal of Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin which was loved by fans of the comedy sketch show “Saturday Night Live.” Fey, who was a retired member of the popular show, enjoyed portryaing Palin, but is a strong Democrat and hoped that the Obama campaign would win the election, despite the fact that the need for creating Palin sketches would likely decrease.

According to a recent report, Fey has announced that she may reprise her Sarah Palin role when she temporarily returns to “Saturday Night Live” this upcoming fall. Due to the popularity of the character, Fey believes that it is inevitable that the writers of the show will at least try to include a Palin sketch into the program.

If the skit does end up taking place, it will be the fifth time that Fey has portrayed the popular ex-Vice Presidential candidate. Fey’s portrayal of Palin was so popular that it won her an Emmy and led to Saturday Night Live’s most popular season in years. Palin also had a good attitude about the sketch and she even appeared alongside Tina Fey in an October 2008 sketch on the show.
