“Brothers and Sisters” star Dave Annable and girlfriend Odette Yustman are engaged to be married. Odette, 24, is the star of “The Unborn” and the short lived “October Road” series. She said yes when he got down on one knee and proposed to her in Santa Barbara last week. They were able to keep the secret to themselves a little better than Joel Madden did when disclosed news about Nicole Ritchie‘s engagement earlier in the week, but the news regarding Annable and Yustman eventually came out.

Both Dave and Odette join Nicole and Joel Madden as well as Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie on a long list of couples who celebrated Valentine’s Day with engagement surprises.

Annable and Yustman started dating in 2008 after Dave had broken off a romance with Emily VanCamp, his on-screen wife on the “Brothers and Sisters“ series. For Odette, this is her second engagement after a split with actor Trevor Wright in 2007.

No date has been set for the wedding at this time, though sources are saying they will marry before year’s end.

Many fans are excited about this news and have been following the couple’s progress throughout their year and a half relationship.
