Perhaps known as the most famous teen mom in the United States, Bristol Palin, daughter of Sarah Palin, will soon be seen on an ABC Family television show. “The Secret Life of the American Teenager” will feature Bristol as a friend of one the main characters, Amy. In the television show, Amy and her family are facing and dealing with the fact that she is a pregnant teenager.
Palin will play herself on the show, and the ABC Family executives seem thrilled to have her participate in the show dealing with topics that Palin can relate with very closely. Likewise, Bristol seems equally excited to be part of a show that is dealing with issues like teen pregnancy.
At age 18, Bristol gave birth to her son Tripp in December of 2008. Her pregnancy announcement came shortly after her mom, Sarah, was brought into John McCain’s Presidential Campaign as his running mate. Since that time, Bristol has taken a stance in favor of abstinence as to how teenagers should regard sexual relations. She is also currently in a battle with her baby’s father, Levi Johnston, for full custody and child support payments.
The episode will be featured sometime this summer.
