Whitney Houston is trying to make yet another comeback after being out of the singing spotlight for over ten years. She is currently on her “Nothing but Love” tour. Her most recent performance in Brisbane, Australia left fans wondering what happened to the once beautiful voice and concerns about her health were raised.
Houston’s career started in the late 1980s and then blew up in the early 90s. She married rapper Bobby Brown and went downhill from there. She recently left her abusive husband and was rumored to have kicked her long time cocaine addiction. Tabloids have reported the former actress and singer collapsed after a drug and alcohol binge.
Her spokesman claims those reports are false and the singer is in good health. Australian concert goers tell a different story. Houston appeared to be out of breath and was sweating profusely. She had to take a break after singing a handful of songs. Her spokesman admitted her voice was a little croaky but defended the star by saying her fans needed to realize she is not as young as she once was.
Houston is scheduled to perform several more concerts in Australia during her tour. Fans that attended the Brisbane show are expected to ask for refunds.

When you find the “Exit” sign, and the house is on fire you should use it. Whitney will always be remembered for her outstanding talent. The music will live on in our hearts and minds forever. Now I think she should do one final performance, and she be the only fan…do it for her not us. Take the time she needs for herself. Who cares if it’s been ten years since she performed for us. It took ten years for her to see, “The woman in the mirror” Whitney take your bow, and go do the performance to save your life. Do it for you.
I am sorry to say that whitney Houston has only herself to blame for her now lack of talent and voice. She has spent years on drugs instead of continueing her career. She cant sing as she once did, sometimes entertainers should stop and retire with dignity and not exploit the public by asking them to pay a lot of money to hear them try to regain their original voice and sound. It’s not fair to the public…Whitney I am sorry but your day has come and gone.Do the right thing and admit your voice has failed and retire with dignity!
ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END
Whitney Houston is a fake. She pretends to be beautiful, but anyone with an ounce of depth can see the lack of appeal that she embodies. How can anyone so hostile, so course, so crude and common be seen as credible beyond the surface. Also she was not in touch with her audience in Brisbane, or she would have known that those people are not the kind of people who would just blindly accept her unrefined antics. Houston is a has been, and if it weren’t for Dolly Parton and her immeasurable talent, Houston would never have been. What ever Houston had in the past has long been squandered through her ludicrous gestures and animosity, just under the surface, for all with an ounce of depth to observe. I hold my hat over my heart to the people of Brisbane for being able to see past what their eyes could well have been telling them that what they were seeing was in any way beautiful. Thank you very much.
