Beckhams to buy Clooney’s Italian villa

David and Victoria Beckham reportedly have entered into a business agreement with actor and activist George Clooney. The couple has reportedly agreed to buy Clooney’s Italian villa. Other sources say this is simply not true. Clooney is reportedly upset about the rumors according to other camps because it might scare off other potential buyers of the nearly forty two million dollar estate. The fact of the matter is that some in Hollywood are saying that George is looking to unload the property and make some money in this otherwise very rough economy.

Some people are also saying that George is looking to get rid of the property in order to look like the average working person who does not hold such a luxurious property in case he wants to run for office one day. The fact that his father Nick Clooney used some of his son’s Hollywood connections in order to raise money for Nick’s campaign for Congress in Kentucky probably did not do Nick Clooney any favors as he was looking for votes in that rural, blue collar district.

The Beckhams on the other hand could simply be buying the villa as part of a planner summer get away.
