Mark Calaway AKA ‘The Undertaker’ Burned During WWE Event

WWE’s Undertaker Burned

A very frightening scenario developed scantly when the professional wrestler The Undertaker – real name Mark Calaway suffered minor burns to his chest when a pyrotechnics display when awry. Calaway emerged from the mishap without serious harm and such an outcome should be considered lucky. Raging fires have derived from pyrotechnic accidents and the minor problems suffered during Sunday’s PPV event in St. Louis’ Scottrade Center were easily brought under control.

The accident was blamed on the mistiming of the ignition. Calaway had taken part in hundreds of entrances over the years that involved pyrotechnic displays. None have involved any problems of this nature before.

This is not to say Calaway walked away completely unscathed. He suffered minor burns that have been described as mimicking the appearance of a really bad sunburn. The injuries are expected to heal rather quickly and not deliver any lingering effects. Calaway was able to appear on television the next night for the WWE program “RAW.”

At the time the accident took place, the audience could not tell if it was an accident or part of the show. Soon after, it became apparent that something went wrong. The problem was brought under control quickly which is why Calaway did not suffer any further serious injury.
