Paris Hilton Too Hot for Brazil?

While Paris Hilton usually lives up to the motto “Blondes have more fun” it is apparently not true in Brazil. Brazil’s secretariat for Women’s Affairs wants a beer commercial starring Hilton pulled off the air.

The sultry commercial for Devassa beer features a sexy Paris Hilton in a short black dress while rubbing a can of the beer on herself much to the enjoyment of those looking at her through a window.

While Brazil is not usually known for its’ modesty especially when it comes to their tiny bikinis according to regulations they are now saying that in beer commercials woman cannot be treated as overtly sensual objects.

A spokesperson for the secretariat goes on to say that the commercial devalues women, blondes in particular. She also goes on to say that they have already received several complaints in regards to the commercial.

There are several commercials shown in Brazil that feature women in scant bikinis but they claim these are different because they are shown on the beach thus deeming it appropriate.

Eduardo Correia, a spokesperson for the regulator Conar, goes on to say it is not about what Hilton is wearing but the sensual nature of the commercial that is the problem.
