President Obama To Make Appearance on Most Wanted


This Saturday, television viewers can see President Obama on the tube. A taped 15 minute interview with President Obama on the well known television series “Most Wanted,” will be the venue. John Walsh the longtime host, will have the President on the show to celebrate its 1000th. episode. The segment was taped in the White House Map Room.

President Obama will tell Mr. Walsh that the administration had feared a rise in crime due to the economic downturn, which did not materialize. He will highlight what the administration has done and will do to lessen crime in the United States. President Obama will point out the increase in aid to the states to fight crime. The President will also be seen praising law enforcement officers and commending the ongoing tough job they must do every day. President Obama will also state how the administration saved many law enforcement positions through its economic policies.

John Walsh started this well received show 22 years ago after his son was abducted and killed. The incident caused Mr. Walsh to go on a personal crusade against crime through the television series. About 1100 fugitives were apprehended and over 40 children were reunited with their parents thanks to the television series.
