Keyshia Cole gave birth to a baby boy Tuesday at 11:54 p.m.

R&B singer Keyshia Cole, 28, and fiancé Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Daniel Gibson, 24, welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world on Tuesday. The baby which they named Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr. weighed 7 pounds 3 ounces.

Tresa Sanders, publicist for Cole said, “Both mother and baby are doing great. Keyshia would also like to give a special thank you to her fans that have been with her since the beginning sharing in her growth as a woman and an artist.”

It seems Cole has a lot of first’s this year, she has her movie debut next month in “Tyler Perry’s Why Did I Get Married Too?” which will be in theatres April 2. She also has another album due later this year.

Cole and Gibson became engaged to be married, with a nice sized rock mind you, on New Year’s Eve.

Earlier this year Cole issued the following statement: “Now that I am becoming a mom my passion for having a loving and peaceful home for my child is my No.1 priority.”

Added to Cole’s schedule is her BET reality show. She is going to be one busy mama.
