Keyshia Cole, the Grammy Award Nominated R&B singer, and Daniel Gibson, point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers, are the proud parents of Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr. who was born on Tuesday. The baby entered the world weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces.

Cole starred in her own reality show, ‘Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is.’ She will soon be starring in ‘Why Did I Get Married Too.’ In addition the 28-year-old singer has a new album scheduled for release later in this year. Her first album, ‘The Way It Is’ was released in June 2005 and it went platinum. Her next album, ‘Just Like You,’ was released in September 2007. This was followed by ‘A Different Me’ late in 2008.

The multi-talented actress was born in 1981 in Oakland, California. She was raised in the bay area city until she decided to move to Los Angeles, when she was 18, to pursue her music career. She has come a long way during the past decade. A year ago she was on the cover of ‘Vibe.’ The following summer she was on the cover of ‘King.’

Cole and Gibson are presently engaged. They have not released any information as far as when they plan to wed.
