Mo’Nique announced during an interview that she and business manager husband Sidney Hicks have an open marriage.

The “Precious” star went so far as to say that she would not be bothered if her husband was intimately involved with another woman. Mo’Nique told Barbara Walters in an interview for ‘Barbara Walters Oscars Special’ that she has known her husband for too long to let an affair get in the way of their marriage; she emphasized that multiple affairs would not even cause her marriage to dissolve. She said that she and her husband have a very open marriage where they discuss their every thought, even fantasies, with each other.

“Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me? Yes,” she told Walters. “That’s not a deal-breaker. That’s not something that would make us say, ‘Pack your things and let’s end the marriage.’”

Monique continued to divulge personal information, telling Walters that her husband loves her unshaven, hairy legs. She commented, “I tried shaving one time and it was so uncomfortable and painful. I said never again would I do that to myself.”

It seems that she has gotten one thing right, if it is not her marriage, it is her acting; the actress is an Academy award nominee.
