Corey Feldman – The Remaining Corey

Corey Feldman has been acting since first appearing in a McDonalds commercial at the age of three over 35 years ago. His brotherly relationship with actor Corey Haim, also Jewish and born in 1971, has spanned over two decades. Their friendship came to an end on March 10, 2010 due to Haim’s untimely death at the age of 38.

Feldman and Haim first met while auditioning for the films Goonies and Lucas. Feldman ended up starring in Goonies, and Haim was awarded a role in Lucas. In 1987 they renewed their friendship when starring in the vampire film Lost Boys. Their personal and professional collaboration continued with the 1988 film License to Drive and Dream a Little Dream in 1989.

Known as The Two Coreys, their bond helped them through their mutual drug addictions and Feldman’s two divorces. In 2007 they teamed up to star in a reality television show for the A & E Network appropriately named The Two Coreys. The show lasted for two seasons. Recently, Haim was publicly upset about Feldman being invited to star in the Lost Boys sequel without him. This public rift was short lived just like any other disagreements that the two had over the years. Corey Haim will be sadly missed by his “brother” Corey Feldman.
