Corey Haim, who is best known for being one of the “Coreys” along with Corey Feldman, passed away earlier this week. All signs of his death point to an apparent drug abuse. Haim, who was just 38 years old when he passed away, starred in various hit movies in the 1980s. Some of the hits that he starred in were “The Lost Boys,” “License to Drive,” “The Roomies,” and “Lucas.”

The death of Corey Haim came as a tragic conclusion to a long battle with drug abuse. It seems even more tragic considering it appeared that Haim was finally getting his life back on track. According to his good friend and manager, Mark Heaslip, the actor was booking several movies at a time.

Prior to his untimely death Haim was working on a new project where he took a leading role and played a corrupt police officer. In the movie Haim would eventually get deeply involved in the lives of six children and become friends with a female cop. The female cop was played by Karina Noelle.
