Kate Gosselin and her hairstyles just can’t seem to stay out of the news. A few months ago, her $7000 hair extensions made the front cover of magazines and briefly dominated entertainment news. Today, those pricey extensions are gone. At least for a short period of time.
After seven long hours of removing the blonde extensions, Kate was sighted sporting a new bob with side-swept bangs. Apparently the look is only temporary, and new extensions will be put in her hair tomorrow, which could take up to twenty hours to complete. Insiders say it is all in preparation for her look on hit show “Dancing with the Stars”. Her new hair will feature many different highlights and shades of blonde.
While some report that she allegedly hated the original extensions, claiming they looked unnatural and over-processed, apparently she didn’t hate them enough not to agree to put new ones in. However, she claims she is doing it all for the show, and not for herself.
It seems as though tomorrow there may be a new update about yet another new ‘do for Ms. Gosselin. Some may think that’s unfortunate, as her current short bob doesn’t really look all that bad!
I am really sick of this person. “Just doing it for my kids” attitude. Give me a break. I think it borders on child abuse to be so vain and make money off of your kids!

I AGREE with Julie. Am so tired of her spending all this money on herself and saying her kids come first. She’s all about herself and I’m so blessed she’s not my mother. After yeas of watching DWTS, I will not be watching this year unless she falls on her butt and gets eliminated in 1st try.

I told you she is a Diva. Where is all the money she made on her books. I remember reading it was millions. The bodyguard is still in the picture. She must have been having an affair while on book tours, he was there. It was then that she started sittint next to Jon with her rear end extended at him. Check it out. She is so full of herself. I think we can all agree that we have been Gosselined to death. This blonde imo care about nothing but herself and her pocketbook. She is never even home to take care of her brats, yes they are spoiled brats. If you have watched the ridicolous thing they called a show her kids do nothing but whine and cry . I think her and the octo mom should have there kids taken away they do nothing but think how can this benifit me. I’m just sick of it (barf)

Leave her be. She’s doing the best she can with people like you complaining. You don’t have to watch and therefore complain. I personally believe she is doing what she can and she isn’t making money off her kids. Her kids aren’t on TV and when they were it a family show on raising sets of multiples. Anyone else on TV makes tons of $, so why shouldn’t they, while others watch how others do it. If some parents followed her lead, their kids wouldn’t be in foster care and having the state pay for their care. By having a family show, she’s paying her own way.
They were a NORMAL family making their way and things went wrong, so what, it happens and the tabloids made the big deal of it, not her. Tabloids made the big deal and so she using it to support her kids. How about you work to support 8 kids. She’s been through he– and trying to do the best she can.
I do not agree with child abuse.. do I think it is right for her children.. not at all. But I do see that she is a caring mother who has been severely hurt by her ex husband, who turned into a severe attention seeker. Am I sick of the show, yes, I am also extremely sick of seeing her and John on all the head lines of the papers. He children on the other hand are absolutely adorable!
Kate doesn’t have to do all of this TV stuff to make money to care for her kids – plenty of people with a lot of kids take great care of them and aren’t on TV. She wants to be a star – her ego is bigger than her family’s needs.
Would it be better if she sat on her butt & let the people of PA support her kids. Most women with two kids complain that they are over worked even if stay at home moms…..give the woman a break. How would you support 8 kids?
20 hour makeover wouldn’t be my first choice. DWTS takes an average of 20 hours a week practice and she is neither commuting or brought her children to NYC with her so how is SHE raising them

I really think all of you are really jealous of this woman. She is no dirrerant than you and I except for the fact that she got a break in life. Kate has done alot of great things with her children and does all the time. I don’t see any of you talking smack about all of the other people in TV, Movies, Sports ect… that have children. She seems to be a very strong person in my eyes and has control of her life and her children! How many people go on vacation and do not take there children or go on a buisness trips for a day, week or month???? Well this her job, TV. So give the woman a break. Remember she was not the one cheating on her husband going to clubs and parting all the time.

If you weren’t so mean to your husband and all the people who gave you free “stuff” you would still be married today and your kids wouldn’t have to see their father acting like a kid who just got out of prison. I like Kate. She was with her bodyguards family, not just him. She gets a lot of perks, yes. The money mostly goes to pay for help to care for the children while she HAS to work. She has eight children and does try to put aside money to care for the futures of all eight children and herself. She can not do book signings is sweat clothes. She pays taxes and does her best to care for the children and their needs, schooling and health care. She rarely sits around complaining. She is trying to make the best of a situation she never wanted or chose. Most of these critics have no idea about maintaining a business lifestyle. Kate does not diserve the awful name calling and rediculose remarks that have been made by under educated idiots.
As a mother of two sets of multiples myself, I’m tired of her saying she’s doing it for her kids. She’s doing it for herself and WHO CARES. It’s ok to do stuff for yourself – It’s what makes you sain at the end of the day. If Kate would just admit she does things for herself, people wouldn’t hate her so much.
I used to watch John and Kate plus 8 religiously before they went Hollywood. I just can’t stomach either of them. They can say they are doing everything for thier kids until they are blue in the face but I don’t buy it. They are both SELFISH! and have let this go to their head. Especially Kate!
Hair today, gone tomorrow. It is the agent who makes the star. We never hear about the agent but rest assured Kate has one & an excedllent one. We are the ones who, along with the agent, make a person a celebrity. It would a good thing if we all concetrated more on education & refinement than making celebrities billionaires. We are a gullable society & love to live vicariously through the rich & famous. The west cast does nothing else. The east coast not so much. Here we are trying to make ends meet & we have to wallow in the lap of luxary of the rich. I am somewhat guilty of that, it is nice to see what it would be like to be rich, especially when it is us who made them rich. Think about that.
