The report was made by The Hollywood Insider who was probably told by Imagine Entertainment that they planned on doing a film tracing J. Edgar Hoover’s life story which was in effect the predecessor to the biggest agency in the United States, The FBI, which he founded in 1935 and made an integral part of the back bone of the United States as a formidable fighter of organized crime until he died in 1972.

Imagine Entertainment says that if Eastwood agrees to the joint venture with them, he will be represented by his Hollywood Studio, Malpaso Productions.
