Jessica Simpson is making her talk show rounds in an effort to promote her upcoming VH1 reality TV show. Her interviews have led to some surprising revelations about her ex-boyfriends, including football star Tony Romo.

Romo infamously dumped Simpson on her 29th birthday after dating for nearly two years. She has not come right out and bashed him, but she has revealed she is still fond of his “cute butt.” When asked why the pair split, she puts it back on Romo and simply says “ask him.” She claims the two are still friends, and she remains a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

While she and Romo dated, Simpson was blamed for Romo’s poor performances during a few football games. Dallas Cowboys fans and several players actually requested she not attend anymore games. Romo stood by his woman throughout the controversy, and she still supported her man, just from a distance.

While dating Romo, the media shifted their focus from her being a bad talisman for the Cowboys, to her weight. She was constantly slammed in the media for gaining a few pounds and wearing outfits that did not flatter her fuller figure. Simpson says Romo helped her get through some rough moments and always made her feel sexy.
