Kate Gosselin has the tabloids talking with yet another new hairstyle. The former star of the hit TLC reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ has unveiled a new look for her stint as a celebrity contestant on another reality show, “Dancing With The Stars”. Gosselin reportedly spent seven hours at the Ted Gibson salon for a hair appointment that turned Gosselin’s medium-length blonde locks into a platinum bob. She was photographed leaving the salon with her “Dancing With The Stars” dance partner, Tony Dovolani.
The mother of eight has been making waves with her hairstyles since her days on “Jon and Kate Plus Eight”. Her trademark short hair had many critics mocking the extreme style that became a Halloween Costume sensation. Once she separated from her husband, Jon, Kate appeared on the cover of People magazine with $7,000 hair extensions that took 20 hours to put in. Kate declared in the magazine that she wanted a fresh start and the hair was only part of it. However, the look proved to be too high-maintenance for the busy mom, and one month later the extensions were removed. Her hair remained medium length until her most recent trip to the salon.
I really like Kate and her new, temporary hair style. I do wonder why she can generate such curiosity by a simple hair style change. She is not really doing anything any normal person would not do to go out for the evening. I do wish her every success, but really, she is just not that great or interesting. Even the queen doesn’t have that kind of PR.
I think her new hair style looks great lets face it ladies when we go thru a hard break up we all need a ego boost and what a better way than to change our hair.
