It’s time once again to induct new members to the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame!
So, who is going in this year and who is going to be present when it officially happens? What do they have to say about this honor? Who is going to be performing at the event?
There will be five groups inducted to the hall this year and some may surprise you.
First off is Genesis. Lead singer Peter Gabriel finds it a true honor to be inducted even though their more progressive style of rock hasn’t been seen as appropriate for the hall in earlier years. He won’t be able to make the ceremony in New York though because like all good rock stars, he’s on tour right now. Second off is
The Hollies, but only two of their members are going to be able to be present for the event. The other inductees are Abba, Jimmy Cliff, and The Stooges.
Onlookers of the event this year will be dazzled by performances by Jesse Carmichael of Maroon 5, Faith Hill, Chris Isaak, and Adam Levine.
The event is scheduled to be live from New York’s Waldorf Astoria, Monday from 5pm to 8pm on March 15th.
