Corey Feldman lost a close friend Wednesday of an accidental overdose. Corey Haim has died at age 38. They became friends when they were in movies together like the “Lost Boys” and “licensed to Drive”.

There has been a great outpouring of condolences from actors and actresses as well as people in the film industry. Feldman was happy to see this kind of response. What angers him is the fact all these people care now when it is to late. Where were they when he could have used a hand or some support.

Haim was a good actor and when he was younger appeared in many movies. With age he was forgotten. He was a man that never would hurt anybody.

Hollywood is cruel to their acting cast. When they are young and popular they will use them endlessly. When they lose that youthfulness Hollywood forgets you existed. If you become unpopular you are done.

Feldman and Haim were child stars that were both forgotten. They both had issues with drugs but Haims had a harder time overcoming the drug problem.

Feldman would like Hollywood to take note of their actions. Acting is a short career for most people Hollywood should do their part to honor the people who give so much for them.
