Corey Feldman, who was a good friend of the late actor Corey Haim, has publicly criticized the general public for portraying the recent death of Haim in a negative light. While it was initially assumed that Haim passed away due to a drug overdose, Corey Feldman has stated that drugs were not an issue anymore with the actor.

According to Feldman, Corey Haim had been in the best frame of mind that he has even been in. Haim’s mother was also upset that the death was initially assumed to be an overdose. Haim had been sick with the flu for a few days prior to his death, which could have led to his death.

According to Haim’s mother, the police found no evidence of illicit drug use in Haim’s home. Also, Haim’s mother stated that the initial autopsy performed on the actor’s body showed that he possibly died of pulmonary congestion. Haim also appeared to have been living with an enlarged heart and excess water in the lungs.

According to Feldman, who recently spoke openly about the incident on the Larry King show, Haim was destitute and alone. Prior to his death, Haim was living with his mother who was battling breast cancer.
