Former presidential hopeful John Edwards, has rocked the nation in the past several months with the confirmation of an extramarital affair that produced a child. The politician based his campaign around his family values. He was portrayed as the loving, doting husband to his cancer stricken wife.

Rielle Hunter is finally going public with her side of the story as the other woman. Hunter claims Edwards is supporting her decision to go public.

The pair began sleeping together back in 2006 after meeting at a Manhattan hotel. Hunter claims she loves Edwards, and he loves her, although he is still legally married to his wife Elizabeth.

Hunter’s interview in GQ magazine is very straightforward and will definitely squash any political ambitions the politician may have had. The 45 year old mistress made some pretty harsh statements about the soon to be ex-wife. She claims Elizabeth emasculated John and ultimately ruined the marriage more than a decade before the pair ever met.

The problems do not end there for Edwards. He is now under investigation by a grand jury to determine if Hunter was paid hush money by supporters and campaign funds. Hunter admits to being gifted money but does not reveal who actually gave it to her.
