Larry David Working On New Seas Of Curb Your Enthusiasm

Fans of the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm got a bit of a boost on Sunday night, March 14. The show’s creator and star, Larry David told fans at PaleyFest, a TV festival, that he is working on new Curb Your Enthusiasm material. David went on to say that nothing was definite yet. Season 7 of the comedy earned high praise. According to Bob Einstein, who plays Marty Funkhouser on the show, the last season “brought a lot of excitement back to everything and I think it would kind of sad and stupid to stop now. There’s no reason to.”

The Seinfeld reunion storyline in season 7 won the show new fans and revitalized its ratings. When asked if Curb Your Enthusiasm would play host to another reunion of the Seinfeld cast, David stated in no uncertain terms that “there will be no more ‘Seinfeld’ references on the show.” He went on to add the any further questions about Seinfeld would not be appropriate.

If it happens, the eighth season of Curb Your Enthusiasm may see David reuniting with his on-screen wife, played by actress Cheryl Hines. Season 8 could also see the return of J.B. Smoove’s popular character, Leon Black.
