Spencer Pratt has announced he is leaving ‘The Hills.’ He has discovered a new passion in life which is giving him a new purpose. He said he has decided to discontinue filming additional episodes for this season. Instead Spencer is studying software engineering but with an emphasis on encryption. He is studying at USC while he does work at the American Defense Enterprises in the cyber security division.

Spencer Pratt created a bit of controversy after he earlier threatened to walk from the reality show, ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.’ He threatened to walk twice! He and his wife eventually quit the show. Perhaps the Pratt’s are a family of quitters. Pratt’s younger sister, Stephanie said she will quit ‘The Hills,’ after the tenth episode. She insists that others will follow.

Young Spencer Pratt declares that the cyber threat is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation, per President Barack Obama, therefore he has decided to put his energy and devotion to helping America.

Spencer explained, “I am saddened to take this break from filming MTV’s ‘The Hills.’ At this time, however I feel I would not be honoring my country or myself if I were to continue this endeavor when I have the opportunity and the ability to assist our nation against these prevalent threats.” Since Pratt has indicated such a strong devotion to his country, perhaps if the new endeavor does not pan out then he can join the Army.
