Late night talker Jimmy Kimmel visited with David Letterman last night on the Late Show with David Letterman and admitted to verbally punching Jay Leno during the recent late night talkshow verbal onslaught on Leno.
Letterman heaped praise on Kimmel, “I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed your participation in the Jay Leno scandal,” said Letterman, referring to current ongoing latenight soap opera we’ve all been watching. Leno now has replaced Conan O’Brien as host of The Tonight Show.
Letterman kept encouraging Kimmel to keep up the attacks even though Kimmel and Leno are friends. “He went on The Oprah Show and said I sucker-punched him,” Kimmel said. “He’s always running to tattle to Oprah whenever something happens, and I didn’t feel like I did sucker-punch him. But then I looked it up in the dictionary and it turns out I did.” Neither Kimmel or Letterman offered any apologies during the interview.
Kimmel received much attention for appearing on Leno’s old show to answer 10 questions, but turned his answers into an assault on Leno. Kimmel also did show long imitation of Leno in January, putting on a grey wig and a prosthetic chin that made him resemble a crazed looking Leno.
Kimmel’s just another loud mouth cry baby like Conan
No, Jimmy Kimmel is actually funny and appeals to a younger audience.
What a couple of mean spirited losers! How they must fear Leno. Does Letterman and Kimmel have so little material that they must bash Leno endlessly? They are getting quite booring and its time for them to move on. Note that Leno didn’t go after Kimmel or Letterman after they screwed up with their women. They could learn something here about class.
Like the younger audience that didnt follow Conan to the 11:35 spot? Sixteen years conan had to build an audience that would follow him, Jays audience followed, Conans did not. We always bash athleates for saying I will only play for this much and only play here, Conan did the same thing!!!
