Star Of Wonder Years Having Wonder Years Of Her Own

Everyone remembers “The Wonder Years.” And everyone remembers the sweet, lovable character of little Winnie Cooper.

Fast-forward to today, and she’s no longer little. And by the way…she’s pregnant.

Danica McKeller, the actress behind the character, is expecting her first child this fall, and according to her conversations with reporters, she’s practically gushing with excitement about her child as she nears the end of her first trimester.

Reportedly, she claimed to have postponed using a pregnancy test when she first became suspicious of the waiting child inside of her in order to remain focused on a book that she plans to release in August, titled “Hot X: Algebra Exposed.” But, in Mckeller’s own words, “That only lasted a day – I couldn’t stop thinking about it and I caved!” she explained. “You can’t try to put that off.”

Married for only a year after 7 years of dating, McKeller is 35 this year, and her husband, Mike Verta, is 37. Their child will come into a home with a sometimes-actor, sometimes-author mother and a composer for a father.

“It doesn’t quite seem real,” admitted McKeller, “But when you see the baby and the heartbeat on the ultrasound, it’s so incredible.”
