Will Conan O’Brien Land Deal With Fox?

Conan O’Brien, who is well regarded as one of the world’s most successful talk show hosts and comedians, appears to be working on a new deal with the Fox television network to start a new late night talk show. O’Brien previously hosted “The Tonight Show,” which is one of the highest rated and highest budgeted talk shows on television.

While know official statements have been made in regards to a partnership between O’Brien and Fox, reports have stated that the comedian recently submitted an outline of a new show idea. It is widely believed that Fox has been interested in O’Brien ever since he left the NBC network following a dispute earlier this year. O’Brien has previously worked with the Fox network as he was a lead writer on “The Simpsons” for a long period of time.

To start a new show on Fox, O’Brien most likely will be required to accept a low budget. The $50 million production budget that came with “The Tonight Show” on NBC is likely to be well out of reach for the Fox network.

O’Brien is presently preparing for a live comedy tour which will span 30 different cities. There are rumors that the tour will be taped and possibly turned into a movie.
