Rob Fusari, who is Lady Gaga’s former producer and songwriter, is suing the music star for $30.5 million in royalties. Fusari was credited on a number of different songs on Lady Gaga’s first album “The Fame.”

While Fusari wrote several songs for Lady Gaga, he also claims that he was instrumental in other areas of her career. Fusari stated that played an integral role in getting her a record contract with Interscope records. He also claims that after he saw her perform years ago that he helped her radically transform her approach to her music career. Fusari further claimed that he suggested that the performer adopt her present stage name.

Fusari has also stated that he and the performer were romantically involved, but when their personal relationship fell apart, their business relationship fell apart as well. Because the of the personal and professional break up, Fusari claims that he was denied a 20% share of Lady Gaga’s royalties. While Fusari admits that he has been paid over $600k by Lady Gaga, it is the full share that he is after.
