Google Accused of Censorship by Alex Jones
Google, the American search engine giant that only six months ago clashed with the Chinese government over internet censorship policies, has been accused of censorship by American news commentator Alex Jones.
Jones alleges that one of his documentary movies, The Obama Deception, was removed without his authorization from YouTube, the popular online video site owned by Google. Steve Watson, who regularly writes for Jones’s infowars.com website, wrote in an article posted July 18th that before the deletion from YouTube the uploaded movie was appearing as the top link when the term “Obama” was entered into the Google search engine.
On Monday, listeners of the Alex Jones Radio Show searched for the term, “Google Spies,” and sent it to the top of Google’s trends chart. However, the term was inexplicably removed from the rankings a short time later.
The deleted movie has since been restored to the original YouTube channel. It now shows the same number of views—over six million—as before it was deleted. Jones contends that had he or his team removed the video themselves for publicity purposes, the new upload would have reset the number of views back to zero, yet this has not happened.
In an article posted today by Steve Watson at the infowars.com website, “Top Secret America: Google Launches Cover Up of ‘Google Spies’ Story,” Watson writes that other search terms, such as “Infowars,” “Fall of the Republic,” and “Google Censorship” have also been removed by Google in recent days. Today, Jones and his staff urged people to search for the term, “Google Launches Cover Up.”
On his radio program broadcasted from Austin, Texas, Jones frequently alleges that the U. S. government is quietly involved in efforts to place restrictions on internet usage. Jones cites Senator Joe Lieberman’s Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act of 2010 as an example of government intent to censor the internet.

Keep in mind that the 6.5 million views (now 6.67) is only from that one page, the total number of all views – even excluding google/youtube tampering – is higher, perhaps millions of views higher, and this is not even including DVD views offline.
