Jamie Lynn Spears, the 20-year-old sister of pop star Britney Spears, is addressing motherhood.

The former Disney star became pregnant when she was only 17-years-old. At that time, she was staring in Nickelodeon’s “Zoey 101.” She had to quit the show to take care of herself and her daughter. Now three and a half years old, Maddie, is Jamie’s number one priority.

Spears left Los Angeles, California to concentrate on raising her daughter in a less stressful environment.

She worries about being a good mother and knows that teen pregnancy is not easy. She admits to troubling times and the hardships of raising a child as a teenager.

She split with Casey Aldridge, Maddie’s father, in 2010, but is now working on a a career as a country singer. She lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her daughter and wants to be the best mother she can be while pursuing her dream.
