It appears that everything between 27-year old Katy Perry and her 36-year old ex husband Russell Brand has been settled. When Katy signed her divorce papers, she put a smiley face after her name.

Perry and Brand were married for just fourteen months. It is being reported that Russell waived his rights to any portion of Katy’s millions which may be the reason why Katy was so happy.

It is also is being reported that there was not a prenuptial agreement signed by the couple.

The divorce papers revealed that Brand and Perry settled all money and property issues in a written agreement. Katy is said to be worth about $44 million and Brand is said to be worth about $7 million.

The divorce will not be final until July 14. In California there is a waiting period before a divorce is finalized.

In October of 2010, Katy and Russell were married. Brand filed for divorce in December of last year.
